Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask us on WhatsApp before their first order, in one place. Can't find your question? Message us and a human answers.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver across the Klang Valley every Sunday. That covers Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Cheras, Ampang, Damansara, Bangsar and Mont Kiara. Not sure about your spot? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you straight away.
Do you deliver outside the Klang Valley?
Not yet. Right now every delivery is inside the Klang Valley, on Sundays. If you're just outside it, message us anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is not included in the price. You book your own courier and pay them directly. There's no minimum order.
When do I need to order by?
By midnight on Friday for that Sunday's delivery. Saturday is our making day. Order after that and we'll book you in for the following Sunday.
How much is it?
Single packs are RM7.90 to RM17.90 for 100g and RM17.90 to RM40.90 for 250g; every recipe card on the menu shows both prices. Classic recipes are the everyday range and Premium recipes are the salmon ones.
Plans are 100g packs, one a day: 7 days for RM69, 14 days for RM129, and 28 days for RM249, which works out cheapest per pack. Each plan includes some Premium packs (1, 2 and 4); extra Premium packs are RM5 each.
How do I order?
On WhatsApp. Tap any order button on this site and it opens a chat with the message already written. Send it, tell us about your pet, and we'll sort out the rest.
How do I pay?
Order right here on the site: add packs or a plan to the cart, check out with your delivery details, and pay by DuitNow QR (Touch 'n Go and every Malaysian banking app) or a manual bank transfer. Then send us the payment screenshot on WhatsApp and we'll confirm your order, usually within the day.
Prefer to chat first? Order on WhatsApp like always, and we'll send you the same payment details there.
Is the food raw or cooked?
It arrives raw, and you cook it. We make each recipe from fresh, human-grade meat and veg, portion it, vacuum-pack it and freeze it straight away, uncooked, so nothing is lost before it reaches you. At home, thaw a pack in the fridge overnight and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
How do I handle it safely?
Until it's steamed, treat a pack the way you'd treat raw meat in your own kitchen and you're most of the way there. Our part: every batch is made fresh, vacuum-packed and frozen straight away, and it travels to you frozen. Your part: thaw in the fridge, never on the counter; use a thawed pack within 3 days; steam it for 15 to 20 minutes and let it cool before serving; bin whatever is left after 30 minutes; wash the bowl, your hands and the counter after each meal.
Very young, very old, pregnant or unwell pets, or a home where someone's immunity is low: talk to your vet before switching. That's feeding guidance, not veterinary advice.
How do I serve it?
Move a pack from the freezer to the fridge the night before. The next day, tip it into a heatproof bowl and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes, until it's cooked through. Let it cool until it's just warm, then serve. Steamed food you don't serve straight away keeps in the fridge for 2 days at most. Anything still in the bowl after 30 minutes goes in the bin.
How do I store it?
Keep the packs frozen until you need them; they keep for 2 months in the freezer. Once a pack has thawed, keep it in the fridge and use it within 3 days, and never refreeze it. Once it's steamed, leftovers keep in the fridge for 2 days at most. Wash the bowl, your hands and the counter after each meal, the same as with any raw meat.
Is this a full meal, or something I add to kibble?
It's a full meal. Every recipe is complete and balanced, so you can feed it on its own. Plenty of owners mix it into the usual food for the first week to help their pet switch over, and that works fine too.
How do I switch my pet over?
Slowly, over about 7 days. Mix a quarter NomNomPaws with three quarters of the usual food on days 1 to 2, half and half on days 3 to 4, three quarters on days 5 to 6, and all NomNomPaws from day 7. Keep the total amount the same as before.
Fussy eaters can take 10 to 14 days: start with a teaspoon mixed in and add a little more each day. Softer poo and a bit more drinking are normal in week one. Vomiting or diarrhoea for more than two days, blood in the poo, or a whole day without appetite: go back a step, and if it continues, check with your vet.
How much should I feed?
Packs come in two sizes, 100g and 250g. How many a day depends on your dog's weight, age and how active they are, so tell us about them on WhatsApp and we'll work out the portions with you.
What's in it? Is there any pork?
Our recipes are built on chicken breast, beef, duck and salmon, with a little duck heart, gizzard and liver, and green-lipped mussel or quail egg in some. The veg you'd recognise: pumpkin, purple sweet potato, carrot, broccoli and corn. Every card on the menu lists what goes into 100g. No pork and no lard go into any recipe.
Do you make food for cats?
Not yet. Every recipe on the menu is for dogs, across puppy, adult and senior. Message us on WhatsApp if you'd like a heads-up should cat recipes come along.
Where are you based? Can I visit?
We're a small kitchen in Kuala Lumpur, not a shop, so there's no storefront to visit. Everything is made in small weekly batches and delivered to your door on Sundays.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Message us. If an order turns up damaged, thawed, or not what you agreed to, tell us within 24 hours and we'll replace it or refund it.
